Once Ler fan fiction 2

 Once ler's P.O.V

   I set my guitar away and than stood near Shelby and watched as she got the tomato juice stains out of my shirt. Not that close. I felt akward without my shirt on."Almost done~"She said, and I decided to go take a shower.

  "I'll be back in ten minutes or so."I said and walked into the bathroom. I undressed, and threw my clothes onto the counter. Then I turned on the tap and climbed inside. The warm water felt nice after the long day I had had, trying to get the attention of all those people, who barley spared a glance for me. Except for her..I wash the tomato out of my hair with my tottaly manly herbal essence shampoo. After a few minutes I climbed out and grabbed my towel, wrapping it around my waist. Oh my shirts there..but where are my pants..? 

  "Shelby?"I called to her."Where are my..?" "Oh..um..well, I thought you'd be longer so i started de-staining them..." "Just bring them here.." "Okay. They're done anyways."The door opened and I got pants thrown in my face, then I just see the door closing. "Hm.."I get dressed quickly and rush outside. "And back! Thanks for..de-staining? My clothes."

   "Your welcome."She smiled...but she smiled as if she's trying hard not to laugh. Did I put on my pants..I looked down. Your clean.. I had told myself. "You..okay?"I asked."Yep."There was that smile again. Looking at her..I noticed something..on her head that should be on mine.."Again with the hat?"I asked, laughing. She laughed with me."It's such an awesome hat though!"She exlaimed. "Alright..give it here."I held out my hand expectantly, and make a gesture with my fingers for her to hand it over.

   "Never!"She made a break for the door and ran out. Following behind her, I caught up easily and tackled her."My hat."I smiled and placed it on my head."You realllly love that hat."She observed. I nodded."It's name..is Hatty, and he's my very best friend."I smile, jokingly. She laughed."Hatty shall be mine one day!"She vowed. I just smiled and lay on the grass with her, staring up at the sky.

Shelby's P.O.V

"We never did have tea.."The Once ler said."I hate tea anyways."I smiled. I actually did hate it. It was my least favourite drink. "Me too."He grinned. Chuckling, I stand up to leave..then I freeze and wonder where I'm going to go...I've been kicked out of the house..and my boyfriends house when he broke up with me today than..I had no where..."I better be going."I smiled at him."Okay..it was nice to meet you Shelby."He stood up and offered me his hand with a grin, and I shook it and returned his smile."Good bye Once ler!"I called and head out the door.

  I walked for about ten minutes before I broke-down and started crying under one of the truffula trees. No idea where to go...no idea what to do.. Then, after about twenty minutes or crying, I heard...whistling? Before I knew it, the Once Ler tripped over me and he fell to the ground. I jumped up. "Im soo sorry!"I helped him to his feet."Shelby? What are you doing out here?" I noticed the axe in his hand."I could ask you the sane question.."I said eyeing the axe. He followed my gaze than looked back at me."I asked you first!" "Well. Clearly I was sitting here crying.." "Why?" "I have no place to live.."I burried my hands in my face and started crying again, embarressed that i was crying in front of him. "Stay with me then."He said suddenly."What..?"I raised my head to look at him. "Yeah. Sure. Why not? I can't just let you stay out here by yourself."He smiled at me. I hugged him tightly."Thank you! So much! I owe you big time!"My smile stretched wide, and I'm happy. I wasn't going to have to live in the streets! Or forest..wherever I was going to go. I hug him for a couple seconds and as soon as I touch him, I feel something strange..my hand..on his back.. it was suddenly hot, but it felt like it was moving. Like lava. Hot lava in my hands, but not normal lava. This lava didn't burn. It made my hand feel tingly. It was like an electric current, more than it was lava..it felt so amazing on my hand..after I let go, I look up at him, and he looked down at me, eyes as wide as mine felt, and I knew he felt the current too. I felt myself blush suddenly and looked away."Thanks."I look over my shoulder and smile warmly. "Dont mention it. Now let's get you home."
